Why we started VetEkipp

We know that taking care of your dog and cat is important to you, and that their food is an indispensable element in ensuring their health. We also know that your relationship with your dog or cat improves when your pet is healthy.
Our goal is to help preserve and enrich the intensity of your relationship with your pet. That is why we have worked hard at deepening our expertise when it comes to dog and cat nutrition.
And that is how VetEkipp was born.

Who We Are

The VetEkipp Srl team is comprised of veterinary experts in pet nutrition. We have extensive experience in this field, as well as a passion for animals and our work.
Our team consists of:

Dott.ssa R. Ricci
DVM, PhD, Dipl. ECVCN

Having graduated in Veterinary Medicine in 2002 at the University of Padua, in 2005 she obtained the title of PhD with her thesis on adverse reactions to dog food. The research was partly conducted at the University of Padua and partly at the College of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University (USA). As of 2006, she has been researching and teaching at the Department of Animal Production and Health at the University of Padua. In September 2014 she graduated from the European College of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition (ECVCN), becoming a European specialist in nutrition and animal food. She is the author and co-author of a number of scientific articles that have been published in national and international journals.  She is a speaker at conferences, congresses and courses on dog and cat nutrition.

Dr. A. Danesi
DVM, PhD

After graduating in Veterinary Medicine in 2002 at the University of Turin, he immediately started a professional course within a Private Clinic for Pets. In 2006 he completed a period of study at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Knoxville - Tennessee (TN) and from 2008 to 2012 he collaborated with the Consortium for the Transplantation of Organs, Tissues, Cells and Regenerative Medicine at Padova Hospital and VIMM (Venetian Institute of Molecular Medicine). After obtaining the title of Research Doctor in Veterinary Clinical Sciences, as of 2012 he mainly deals with Basic Medicine and Nutrition as well as Clinical Nutrition of Dogs and Cats at the Veterinary Clinic Arcella in Padua. He has spoken at a number of conferences and International Congresses, as well as having authored a number of publications in international journals. In 2014 he published his PhD thesis with Italian Academic Editors.
